There are numerous ways of paying the bill – cash, credit card – VISA / Master / American Express, PAYNOW, Grab and so on. We will demonstrate how to take payments from different modes.
Getting ready for payment
[1] On Payment Screen, make sure if you applied discount, split billing, and whatever necessary before proceeding payment.
[2] Select payment mode.
Pay by Cash
[1] Click CASH.
[2] Calculator window appears. From the top, TOTAL indicates the total amount that customers need to pay. $ field is the cash amount the customer paid. CHANGE is balance after deducting $ from TOTAL.
[3] Enter the amount that you received from customers. For demonstration purpose, assumed we received 25 SGD in cash. As a result, we need to return 3.65 SGD to the customer.
Pay by Credit Cards, PAYNOW, GRAB and etc.
Unlike paying by cash, other modes may be simpler because you don’t need to change money. Simply select the payment method and proceed payment.
