SOT Korean Restaurant is a new Korean eatery located in the Telok Ayer area of Singapore, gaining attention for its unique cooking method using a traditional Korean “Sot” – a large iron pot lid.
Features & Menu:
- Sot BBQ Platter: SOT’s signature dish is the BBQ platter, cooked on a large iron pot lid. The pork platter (S$90)includes pork belly, jowl meat, and pork shoulder, while the beef platter (S$120) features beef brisket, sirloin, and LA galbi. These platters are prepared right next to your table for the freshest taste.
- Dak Galbi: Another popular dish is Dak Galbi (starting from S$60), made with chicken, potatoes, vegetables, and rice cakes, stir-fried in a spicy sauce on the iron pot lid for a rich and flavorful taste.
- Snow Beer: A special drink to pair with your meal, Snow Beer is served with a layer of beer-flavored shaved ice on top, making it extra refreshing and unique.
