Starting from 1 May 2021, all dependents of foreigners will be required to secure an applicable work pass (e.g. Employment Pass, S Pass or Work Permit) in order to be employed in Singapore. Current holders of the letter of consent (LOC) will be allowed to continue working until its expiry. Their employers will need to apply for a work pass after the LOC has expired.
