Singapore Phase 2 Reminders for F&B
Ever since ‘Circuit Breaker’ ended, Phase 2 has become the most exciting moment for Singaporeans. Dine-ins are possible again, and people can also have social gatherings – max 5 pax – and visit friends and loved ones.
Here’s a gentle reminder to all F&B operators and customers:
Keep 1m distance
1m distance is from the back of one customer to another, and acrylic shields/physical barriers do not replace the need for 1m safe distancing. Outlets also can do it by changing the arrangement of tables.
Check out the table management system of NPOS and handle the social distancing measure efficiently.
Safe Entry and temperature taking
Safe Entry and temperature taking is required for all outlets with dine-in facilities. Outlets will need to cater sufficient manpower to conduct these checks.
(*Temperature taking is not necessary if outlets are within the malls, where the temperature is already taken at the mall’s entrance)
Common condiments / cutleries
Common condiments/cutleries that are usually placed on each dining table for customers to self-serve, need to be kept. No common station for condiments and cutleries is allowed too. This is to prevent the risk of crowding and droplets transmission.
